After Art's Birthday 2009, making the hydrophones, recording and performing with it, we are continuing to upload sounds and develop projects with them.

In the library for sound modeling Percolate (based on the incredible perry cook, for max and pd) there is a water drop model called wuter~ but the max-msp version does not really sound too good...

Well, recording is one thing, cleaning it up another, and maybe thinking about what to do with it is needed here too. Let's split this section in several subsections not to confuse each other, and let's add some ideas on how we want to work together with the sounds, the equipment, etc... Sorry the ideas below sound so technical, guess that is why they call us technological artists, but the topic will gradually change the closer we get to creating a common setup and working out some things in detail. Always together never forget (otherwise we can stay by ourselves in the bathroom yukkes).

This year, for the traditional Art's Birthday event, we are presenting a connected networked evening with underwater soundscapes. For that reason on 10-11th January we started to make our own hydrophones: Hydrophone Workshop/Hydrophonicka Dielna. It was a parallel workshop in Brussels and Bratislava, to stimulate participants to make their own gear, record underwater and share the recordings, think together about possible setups and performances for the event, and finally have fun.
